Stable
As Can Be

A dark, emotional nu-metal track about appearing calm while battling chaos, racing thoughts, and instability within.

Stable As Can Be is a heavy, emotionally direct song about living with bipolar disorder and OCD while refusing to be defined by either diagnosis. Through alternating male and female vocals, the lyrics move between manic energy, depression, intrusive thoughts, compulsive behavior, anger, fear, and the exhaustion of trying to control a mind that never seems to slow down.

The song also rejects the shame and judgment often attached to mental illness. Its central message is that accepting help, relying on supportive people, and admitting when you are struggling are not signs of weakness. The labels may explain part of the battle, but they do not determine a person’s worth or identity.

At its core, “Stable As Can Be” is a song of faith and reassurance. Stability does not mean pretending everything is fine. It means trusting that even in moments of fear, confusion, and emotional chaos, God remains present and continues to lead you home.
